Our Salad CSA is designed for people who love having truly fresh greens in the refrigerator every week.
For 12 weeks, members receive freshly harvested greens grown right here at Riggin Farm, washed, packed, and reserved specifically for them.
Our signature salad mix features a rotating blend of lettuces such as Sweet Green Crisp, Red Tango, Red Butter, Green Oakleaf, Muir, and other seasonal varieties selected for flavor, color, texture, and quality.
Every membership also includes one seasonal salad extra each week: something from the farm that pairs naturally with your greens. Depending on the season, that might include cucumbers, radishes, microgreens, tomatoes, herbs, peppers, green onions, or another fresh addition from the week’s harvest.
You provide the dressing. We’ll take care of the salad.

PORK CSA
Pasture-raised pork without buying a whole pig.
Our Pork CSA gives you 12 weeks of Riggin Farm pasture-raised pork without needing to purchase an entire animal or fill your freezer all at once.
Our pigs are raised outdoors on pasture and fed a nonGMO, soy-free, and corn-free diet.
Each week you’ll receive a rotating assortment of useful cuts for breakfast and dinner, allowing you to experience much more of the animal than simply buying the same few cuts every week.
CSA members also receive recipes and preparation ideas to help make the most of each week’s share.

2. RESERVE YOUR 12 WEEKS
CSA memberships are paid in full when you enroll. Your advance commitment allows us to plan production, purchase supplies, schedule harvests, and reserve enough food specifically for our CSA members.
3. CHOOSE YOUR PICKUP LOCATION
Select your pickup location when you enroll. Your pickup location remains the same throughout the 12-week season.
4. PICK UP YOUR FOOD EACH WEEK
Your share will be harvested, packed, and waiting for you during your designated pickup window.

JASPER FARMERS MARKET: Saturdays during normal market hours. $25 one-time pickup fee for the entire 12-week CSA.
SPLENDOR OAKS: Fridays 5 PM-7 PM. $40 one-time pickup fee for the entire 12-week CSA.
LUCKY HARE: Wednesdays during normal market hours. $40 one-time pickup fee for the entire 12-week CSA.

WHAT DOES CSA MEAN? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. When you join one of our CSAs, you purchase a 12-week share of the farm’s production in advance. That allows us to plan specifically around our membership numbers. In return, your weekly share is reserved for you.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR ALL 12 WEEKS AT ONCE? Yes. CSA memberships are paid in full when you enroll. Advance membership allows us to purchase inputs, plan production, and reserve enough food specifically for our CSA members throughout the season.
CAN I JOIN BOTH THE SALAD CSA AND PORK CSA? Absolutely! You may join either CSA individually or participate in both. If you join both and select the same pickup location, your Salad and Pork CSA shares can be picked up together each week.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SALAD CSA? We offer three membership sizes. The $10 membership includes two 5 oz bags of Salad Mix each week. The $15 membership includes three 5 oz bags of Salad Mix each week. The $20 membership includes five 5 oz bags of greens each week. Every membership also receives one seasonal salad extra each week
WHAT COULD THE WEEKLY SALAD EXTRA BE? The extra changes depending on the season and what is being harvested on the farm. Examples may include cucumbers, radishes, microgreens, tomatoes, herbs, peppers, green onions, or another fresh product that complements your greens. Part of the fun is seeing what comes out of the field each week.
WHAT IS IN YOUR SALAD MIX? Our blend typically doesn't change with the season, but we'll always include what is growing best. We grow varieties including Sweet Green Crisp, Red Tango, Red Butter, Green Oakleaf, Muir, and other carefully selected lettuces. We combine varieties to create a colorful blend of different flavors, textures, leaf shapes, and colors.
CAN I SUBSTITUTE ROMAINE OR ARUGULA? Members enrolled in the $20 Salad CSA may have the opportunity to substitute up to two of their five weekly greens for Romaine and/or Arugula when available. Because everything is grown here on the farm, availability depends on the season and harvest.
IS YOUR SALAD MIX WASHED? Yes. Our Salad Mix is harvested, washed, processed, weighed, and packaged before pickup. As with any fresh produce, customers may choose to rinse it again before eating.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PORK CSA? Each week includes a rotating selection of Riggin Farm pork. Members can expect breakfast meats such as bacon or sausage along with one or more dinner cuts such as pork chops, roasts, ribs, ground pork, bratwurst, and other specialty cuts. We also provide recipes and preparation ideas throughout the season.
CAN I CHOOSE EXACTLY WHAT I RECEIVE EACH WEEK? Generally, no. Part of a CSA is allowing us to curate each week’s share based on what is ready for harvest or what cuts are available. This allows us to use the whole animal, harvest crops at peak quality, and keep CSA production efficient.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY PICKUP? CSA products are highly perishable and are prepared specifically for each member. Your share must be collected during your designated pickup window. Missed pickups are generally forfeited and cannot be rescheduled, refunded, or carried over to another week.
CAN I CHANGE MY PICKUP LOCATION EACH WEEK? No. Members select their pickup location when they enroll and should plan to use that location throughout the 12-week CSA. Keeping pickup locations consistent allows us to accurately pack, organize, refrigerate, and transport hundreds of individual products every week.
WHY DO SOME PICKUP LOCATIONS HAVE A FEE? Our Riggin Farm pickup has no additional fee. Off-farm pickup locations require additional transportation, labor, equipment, and time. The pickup fee covers the entire 12-week CSA season and is not charged weekly.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WEATHER OR ANOTHER FARM PROBLEM AFFECTS PRODUCTION? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and part of participating in a CSA is sharing in the realities of small-scale farming. We carefully plan our production and grow or raise additional inventory whenever possible, but extreme weather, pests, equipment problems, crop failures, or other unexpected circumstances can occasionally affect availability. If we're short on a particular item, we'll make every reasonable effort to substitute something of similar or greater value. If a significant shortage cannot reasonably be replaced, we'll communicate openly with our members and work to make it right.
