Riggin Farm is husband/wife owned & operated regenerative farm in Talking Rock, Ga, located in foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. Regenerative agriculture is a farming practice that focuses on restoring and enhancing the health of soil, ecosystems, and biodiversity. By utilizing techniques such as crop rotation, cover cropping, reduced tillage, and holistic grazing management, regenerative agriculture aims to improve soil health, increase water retention, and capture carbon in the soil. The benefits of regenerative agriculture include improved soil fertility, enhanced resilience to climate change, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, it can lead to healthier food production because of the lack of chemical or synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides.
